You don't have to set up tedious spreadsheet models or re-do an entire analysis to make a change in a single project. With Optsee® 4, when you save a project, it is automatically run using the last simulation conditions used for the portfolio to give you its value-ranking distribution. Then, if you want, you can re-run the whole portfolio with just two mouse clicks. Optsee® 4 gives you the most comprehensive portfolio analysis including probability distributions for each project and entire portfolios in just a few clicks.
Our new "Cumulative Probability Distribution" view makes understanding the histograms easier, even for "statistically challenged" managers. The median line represents the most likely value and there is an 80% probability that the actual value falls within the 10% and 90% lines. Then, there is just a 20% probability that it is outside those lines. As you can see, if you're only using single values to describe your portfolio value, then you really don't know what the actual potential value of your portfolio really is.
